Anton made his feature film debut at the age of 14 with ‘Batman Action Figures’, filmed entirely on the studio backlots of his parents’ basement ping-pong table. A complete and utter failure, the film was a critically panned, box-office bomb (with the audience consisting entirely of family members who refused to sit through an entire screening).
After graduating from York University with a BA in Fine Arts (Honours), Anton spent 12+ years working as an editor/VFX/compositor before directing commercials & music videos – featured on Wired Magazine, Business Insider, MTV, Best Ads on TV and Stereogum, including an AICE award for ‘Best Spec’.
Merging his post-production background with a distinct photographic sensibility rooted in his love for European cinema, Anton’s work has been shown around the world. Clients include Starbucks, Jeep, Samsung, Unilever (featuring world famous footballer Cristiano Ronaldo), Nescafé, Manulife and Holsten among others. His recent campaign for Century 21 premiered at the 2017 Golden Globes Awards.
Based in Los Angeles, Anton is represented internationally in the US, Canada, across Europe, Russia, the Middle-East and Asia.
